Potential Sha Replacements

Adding to this: Sha also deserves a longer leash than usual in this situation. The reason being that he is the only coach who could potentially stay at SHU for the duration of his career. Anyone else SHU could hire would only view the job as a stepping stone for something bigger and would bail after the first good season.

Sha has been bad this season, real bad. His moneyball approach to the roster failed and this team has not made any identifiable progress as a whole throughout the season. He deserves plenty of criticism but it would be foolish to replace him before his contract is up.
Agree with this as well.

He went through last year at 13-7 in the BE actively complaining about the bench and so forth too. Now look what he did. This has been so bad this year all around that there are now legitimate questions about the willingness to adjust. We'll see shortly. Here's hoping for the best.

He cares, has a work ethic a school like The Hall needs, and is a prideful guy. BUT there need to be adjustments in basketball philosophy at this level, as well as opening the program up more so it can benefit from a media presence. He's trying to operate like it's St. Peter's.

OK, I’ll throw some suggestions out

Grant B and Donald Copeland, for obvious reasons. Let’s not forget Level Sanders, too.

Don’t think NBA coaches without college experience work well, but I’ll also toss out Mark Bryant and Adrian Griffin for sake of discussion.

Could go back to Iona pipeline with Tobin Anderson.

Jersey Guy Andy Toole has struggled since Robert Morris changed conferences but perhaps worth a look.
I see Toole is on Jerry’s podcast in honor of a Horizon League title—finally adjusted to moving up to tougher competition. Certainly worth a look now.
