Covid Deaths in PA

You’re not worth it.

Why do drug companies continue to monitor a drug several years after launch? Why does it normally take 5-7 years to run clinical trials before launch? Answer that.

I'm not worth it or you're full of shit and have no legitimate source to share?

I think the latter.

Thalidomide?

And yes, that’s your choice. As much as we like to think it is, science is not black and white And it will take years to answer many of these questions definitively.

We don’t know the long-term impacts of the virus. We don’t know any long-term side effects of the vaccine. Another factor to consider is the long-term effects on our immune system by taking so many antibiotics, drugs and vaccines. It’s a fact that we are dealing with so many more disorders that we were never confronted with 30 years ago or more. Autism. ADHD, allergies, etc. there is something to be said about letting your body fight a lot of diseases instead of rushing to the pharmacy every time.
yes thanks to thalidomide we now have stricter drug regulations, specifically woth pregancy, which is already an upfront conversation for the covid vaccine.

medicine is always risk reward. a greater % of deaths are from covid than they are from vaccines for the respective populations.

coadministration is definitely a concern for physicians right now, but there doesnt seem to be any acute or short term negative responses at large. the virus has deadly short term affects

generally i agree with your sentiment. i recently found out i have adhd, i have allergies and an autoimmune disorder, etc. maybe it was from all the meds as a kid. i think we are in a much better position now than 30 years ago.
There is risk of long term issues with any drug. Science changes all the time. What is considered correct today could very well be incorrect years from now.

This is why I generally stay away from drugs/pharmaceuticals. I don't trust the companies who produce them and many of them are not needed. They are pushed by doctors and pharmacists who get kickbacks from the industry.
i mean, medicine is perhaps the best invention for the human race ever. lets see what happens when you have a major illness. im sure herbal tea will do the trick. or maybe then youll thank your lucky stars they exist. necessary evil.

for someone so strong in their opinion about the vaccine i find it very telling you got it

My opinion on the vaccine is it should be open to anyone who wants it. It shouldn't be forced, mandated or coerced. It is a personal decision.

Sorry you have those conditions but I don't think it's a surprise if you were heavily medicated as a child. This is the reason why I stay away from drugs, most of which are unnecessary.

Why do drug companies continue to monitor patients taking a drug for many years after launch? Why do phase 1,2,3 trials normally take 5-7 years??? For fun?
You are talking about drugs as opposed to vaccines. Different animal which deserves a different response. I would say you don't have to rush a pill that gets a man erect. Probably be safe and make sure it works well without really harmful effects. However, when lives are in danger due to a virus, vaccines roll out quicker. Like I said, polio vaccine was done with in a year.

We have had over a year and half with this vaccine. So polio was done in the 1950's and people have no issue. but 70 years later with all the medical and science improvement, people are up in arms about a virus that killed 10 times the amount of people that polio did.

Funny comparing it to an ED medication. Same holds true for all drugs, except for fast tracked compassionate use (rare cancer types etc). The vaccines were fast tracked for all the right reasons. But the fact is they were still fast tracked.

But gettingthe vaccine doesn’t guarantee that you won’t get the virus or any of the potential side effects of the virus. It’s not a black-and-white either/or.

So admit that this vaccine has been treated just like polio in terms of time for authorized use. This argument that this vaccine can’t be trusted because it was approved so fast is BS. It is treated just like other vaccines against other dangerous and deadly diseases.

I'm not familiar with the polio release and how long it took, but if it was fast tracked due to the emergency nature of the disease, than that kind of proves my point. The approval process was much different back then as well.

I'm not saying the vaccine can't be "trusted". I have every reason to believe it is safe and effective. There is a risk/benefit to fast track approval. In the case of COVID, the alternative was a lot more people dying, so yeah, it needed to be run through an abbreviated trial process. Like building the plane while you are flying it. We made the right decisions.

But that's different from how clinical trials and the FDA approval process are normally run. It's a much longer process and adverse events are monitored through all three phases and even after the drug is launched. In the case of the vaccines we are now monitoring adverse events in the short and long term while we are treating people.

it guarantees it mitigates the effects of the virus. that much is seen

Checked back in and not surprised to see Hall85 still spewing his fear, uncertainty and doubt regarding vaccines a year later.

Most of your “fast tracking” occuring was regarding production, distribution and red tape approval status within agencies. For instance they starting manufacturing it before receiving EUA. Which has zero to do with safety of vaccine.

While we don’t have longer term data over 2 years or so, we do have two things going for it A) most side effects of any vaccine occur in first 2 days and 99.9 in first 2 months B) we have more overall safety data with these vaccines than anything else in the HISTORY of man kind.

Go get your booster people!

Another brilliant response…just proved my point…thanks

That's the best you can come up with after hiding like a turtle for a day? You can't present a single source that backs up the garbage you spew about long-term effects.

Tell me you know nothing about vaccines without telling me you know nothing about vaccines.

The legend in his own mind, Hall85, proves he really knows very little when he stupidly says "we dont know the long-term effects" when speaking about a vaccine.

Which points would you like me to address?
Hallballs point about the anount of safety data being a positive this regard and any kind of source or link that knies asked. yea it turned into a hog fight but i was actually curious

Thus far, post launch the vaccines are proving to be safe and effective, which is obviously good news and expected.

As I mentioned earlier, the vaccines were fast-tracked (for all the right reasons) in a very compressed clinical trial process that normally takes several years to complete the three phases. In addition, drug companies (and the FDA) monitor adverse events for many years after launch (post marketing studies), to ensure there are no long term side effects of the drug. We won’t know if there are any for another 5-10 years. Does that mean the drug is not safe and efficacious? No. It just means that it is still a new drug that we won’t know completely for years.

This is all factual. I’ll let everyone else respond or name call like they have.

Except any vaccine side effects would be known soon after receiving the vaccine, because that's how vaccines work. No matter how many times you say otherwise, you're wrong. Rinse & repeat.

Nobody named called until you acted like a condescending know-it all, as you do with every topic. However, you continue to prove your lack of knowledge, carry on, it's quite amusing.

are you just fillibustering until people forget lol?

Amazing. He still cant produce any source that would back up his incorrect take that there could be long-term effects from the vaccine. I produced legitimate sources that debunk his incorrect take. Now hes got a convenient case of amnesia. How embarrassing 🤣

Because how would it be possible to produce a research report on potential side effects that are unknown at this point? It's not. You want to deny the drug discovery and clinical trial process that exists (and was fast tracked) and adverse reactions that show up many years after the drug has been launched. It happens all the time. Sometimes minor adverse effects; sometimes more significant which is when a black box warning is placed on the drug. The only one embarrassing themselves is you, but carry on and keep hurling insults, because it's all you got.

A drug and a vaccine are two different animals in possible side effects down the line. If you would take a few minutes to read this from vaccine experts you would realize this, because you keep repeating the same faulty logic, despite being "under the tent". I'll share this once more. I dont expect you to read it, but I wont waste anymore time with someone who would rather harp on conspiracy theories than become educated.

So you're saying a vaccine isn't a drug. That's just not true.

So you're saying a vaccine isn't a drug. That's just not true.

You just created words I never said. I said they're a different animal for potential long term side effects.

Unlike many medications, which are taken daily, vaccines are generally one-and-done. Medicines you take every day can cause side effects that reveal themselves over time, including long-term problems as levels of the drug build up in the body over months and years.

“Vaccines are just designed to deliver a payload and then are quickly eliminated by the body,” Goepfert said. “This is particularly true of the mRNA vaccines. mRNA degrades incredibly rapidly. You wouldn’t expect any of these vaccines to have any long-term side effects. And in fact, this has never occurred with any vaccine.”

I read your article, it's one guy's opinion. Anything you put into your body can cause long term effects. It also might not. That's why studies must be done as HALL85 has said. Anyone who is out there and definitively says there will be no long term effects is guessing. Just as anyone who says there won't be is also guessing. We just don't know until years from now.

No, you're guessing with nothing to stand on. The reasons why long-term effects are virtually 0 are in the article based on science.

And that’s the point…you wouldn’t expect, but you won’t know long term side effects until you study adverse effects over the LONG TERM!

mRNA technology has NEVER been used in the delivery of a vaccine. It was fast tracked. The author makes good points as to why there shouldn’t be be we will not know for sure for many years. Really not hard to understand.
